Bernadette Erskine use all of
their 30 years’ experience of
working with sites in France
to select 109 of the best.
The guide is divided by region and each
section starts with recommended places of
interest in each.
There is a page dedicated to every site and
including great photos and descriptions. The
detailed entries contain contact details, prices,
numbers of pitches, facilities and directions for
reaching them. The only trouble you’ll have is
deciding which caravan site to choose.

Campsite: Chateau Chanteloupe - Review Date: 25/01/10
This site is set in the grounds of a delightful Chateau. The building feels as if it belongs to those on site.Some set up round the edge of the Park while others are in marked pitches round the back nearer the washrooms and loos. There is a good sized pool and a restaurant and shop and a dellightful walk round a small lake where fishing was happening. We liked Le Mans a lot where we explored the mediaeval streets near the Dom and pottered round the market, being handed a welcome bag of apricots by a scarved lady clearing up her stall.
This compendium is a good size and has several sites such as Domaine de Massereau which is excellently placed for accessing the Med and has Sommieres with its narrow streets nearby.

Congratulations on producing an excellent campsite guide to France....Not only is it inspirational for those contemplating France for the first time, even for us seasoned caravanners it is packed with information.. I like the idea of the illustrations which always backs up the most descriptive write up. The expertise and reputation of the Authors of the ABC site guide make it one that I will have no hesitation referring to when travelling in France'
